Acupuncture

There is a reason that acupuncture has been practiced for over 3,000 years. It is based on the interwoven relationship between mental and physical health and the need for them to be conditioned together. Considerable evidence supports the claim that biochemical actions and the direct effects of acupuncture on the central nervous system aid in the treatment of back pain, neck pain, stomach issues, and emotional conditions ranging from anxiety to depression.

Cupping

Cupping is the ancient practice of applying vacuum suction to the skin to promote circulation, reduce inflammation, break up fascial adhesions, augment blood flow, and modulate the central nervous system.

Cupping has both local and general effects on the body: relaxing muscles, reducing pain and tension locally while benefiting the skin, muscles, joints, and digestive organs internally. This wide range of benefits makes it an effective therapy for many conditions.

Gua Sha

Gua Sha is the ancient practice of applying pressure and friction to the skin’s surface to induce healing and counter inflammation.  Gua Sha increases microcirculation locally and promotes blood production and improved lymphatic flow internally.  It is often used to relieve muscular tension, regulate the immune system, and reduce inflammation. Gua Sha can be used effectively to treat a variety of conditions ranging from muscular pain and tension to the onset of a common cold.

Herbal Medicine

Traditional Chinese Herbal Medicine is a powerful tool for targeting and regulating the body’s functions in order to treat and prevent illness.  Many of today’s modern drugs have been developed from Chinese Herbs including medications to treat asthma, sore throat, hepatitis, menstrual pain, malaria, and fatigue.  There is no one size fits all in Chinese Medicine, each person is unique and is treated as such.  Over 500 single herbs and thousands of herbal formulas in Chinese Herbology allow for the customized herbal treatment your body needs.
